Is Jesus Really God?

Throughout history, numerous individuals have professed to follow Jesus, but diverse perspectives on his identity have emerged. While some regard him as a mere prophet, others view him as a mere mortal, and some assert he is God incarnate. Does the ambiguity surrounding Jesus' identity in scripture truly exist, or have people deliberately overlooked or distorted what scripture explicitly communicates? Does the bible clearly state that Jesus is God?
